Google Dataset Search is now available for researchers and journalists

Google Dataset Search

As an extension to the highly popular Google Scholar search engine, Google just launched a new search engine, called Google Dataset Search for researchers and journalists.

The search engines indexes government databases, public sources, digital libraries, and other websites that follows Schema.org’s standards for describing their data. You can use familiar search shortcuts (e.g. site: “site:noaa.gov” to limit search for specific domains). Check out Google guidelines for dataset providers, should you want to share your research data with the public through this new search engine.
